Current Stock:

Made in Canada, these exquisite and unique salt and pepper grinders were carved by west coast artist Mark Garfield. Born and raised on the West Coast of British Columbia, he developed an interest in carving at an early age copying totem poles and masks that inspired him throughout his youth. Mark's work reflects a contemporary approach to traditional northwest coast art influences which have shaped his carving style. His work is held in private and corporate collections around the world.

These recycled glass sleeves feature a beautifully carved Haida Chief in ceremonial wear complete with chilkat blankets. The ceramic grinding mechanism combined with the stainless steel post and cap makes these grinders suitable for salt, pepper or herbs.

Kitchen tested by a Marriott Executive Chef, these grinders will provide long lasting enjoyment.

Available in Slate, Rosewood and Ivory colors.

Approximately 8 inches tall with a 2 inch diameter.

    Haida Pepper Grinder

Posted by Carolyn Canfield on 2021 Nov 9th

We were so happy to find this exact replacement for our favorite, old pepper grinder that we ordered two. They are exactly the same and are a very high-quality product. Thank you, ClaudiaAlan.

Beautiful Artwork, Could be More Functional

The grinder is a beautiful piece of art, and has a good weight to it. I wish the coarseness/fineness of the grind was adjustable, because the fixed grind is set extremely coarse.

I sent one of these to my brother in law and sister in law for Christmas. It's quite beautiful and unusual (not to mention practical!)
